EU New Textile Import Regulations
The EU has intensively introduced a series of regulations related to the textile circular economy. Although there is not yet a unified regulation mandating that "all imported textiles must contain X% recycled fibers," the entire regulatory framework has clearly pointed in one direction: the use of recycled fibers is shifting from a voluntary choice to a mandatory threshold for accessing the EU market.
Recycled Fibers: From "Bonus" to "Market Entry Requirement"
On July 18, 2024, the EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) officially came into effect. This regulation replaces the Ecodesign Directive that had been in place for many years, extending its scope from energy-related products to virtually all physical goods placed on the EU market, regardless of whether they are produced inside or outside the EU. Textiles (especially clothing and footwear) are listed as priority products for initial regulation.
On October 16, 2025, the revised EU Waste Framework Directive (WFD) officially came into effect,establishing a mandatory Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) system for textiles across the EU.
While these proposals have not yet become formal regulations, the signals they send are clear. The final mandatory ratio and implementation timeline are expected to be determined in the specific delegated act for textiles to be issued by the European Commission under the ESPR framework.

We provide a standard warranty period (typically 12 months). During the warranty period, for any malfunctions caused by inherent quality issues of the equipment, we are responsible for free repairs and replacement of parts, and will bear the corresponding technical service costs.

Our waste recycling machine can widely process various types of textile waste, including pure cotton, chemical fibers, blends, and more. These include but are not limited to: blowroom-carding line droppings, drawing frame waste, combing noil, rotor-spinning floor sweepings, waste yarn, fabric edge trimmings, etc. Specific model selection needs to be matched according to the raw material form (lumps, agglomerates, strips) and processing capacity requirements.
